About UVAH
Empowering people. Enriching community.
Ukiah Valley Association for Habilitation (UVAH) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with developmental disabilities to lead fuller, more independent lives. Since 1961, we’ve served as a trusted resource in the community providing life skills training, employment support, and community integration programs tailored to meet each person’s unique strengths and goals.
At UVAH, we believe in ability over limitation. Our programs are built on dignity, inclusion, and person-centered planning, ensuring that every individual we serve has the opportunity to connect, contribute, and thrive. Whether it’s helping someone land their first job, navigate daily life with confidence, or build social connections in the community, our team is committed to meaningful progress.
We work closely with families, regional partners, and local businesses to create a more inclusive future where everyone has a place and a purpose. We are proud to partner with the Ukiah Adult School, and to collaborate with the Redwood Coast Regional Center as a vendor. Together, we’re building a stronger, more connected community for all.
