Learning Independence from Experience
All services take place in the community. The purpose of L.I.F.E is to connect individuals served with their community in order for them to earn an income, explore personal interests and take care of everyday business.
L.I.F.E. Services (Learning Independence from Experience) is a service designed to serve adults with developmental or other disabilities and or 18-22-year-old students with an I.E.P. in their last year of school who want to be fully included in work and community life.
Each person’s schedule is developed through a person-centered planning process, with the person served to determine the desired service outcome.
People using services are encouraged and supported to lead in directing job development activities and preferred support methods.
