The Rural Adult Program (RAP) is a day training service for people with developmental disabilities. All services are designed to help people function as independently as possible.
Enhanced Services provides community integration support at a 1:2 ratio for people who require significant physical supports. Specialized Therapeutic Services provides exercise programs and other therapeutic services as directed by licensed therapeutic professionals.
Individual Family Training Service (IFTS) serves people at a 1:3 ratio, and teaches social and safety skills by offering positive reinforcements, praise, and choices both on-site and in the community.
We provide support for people to access the community, enhance or maintain personal abilities, promote recreational and leisure interests, and develop work skills. People using RAP services work, volunteer and patronize local stores and restaurants.
RAP is funded by the Department of Developmental Services through the Redwood Coast Regional Center, licensed by the Department of Social Services, and co-sponsored by the Ukiah Unified School District Adult School.
